Letter of the Day - I

Hi everyone! Today is Monday and that means the design team creates something with the letter of the day. Today the letter of the day is I.

Today I made this Iris card using the Walk in My Garden cartridge. I cut the pot out at 3 inches. I cut the smaller Iris at 3 inches and the two larger Iris at 4 inches. I used my Copics to color the Iris. The sentiment is from Close to My Heart and it is the Love Life stamp. The paper also comes from Close to My Heart from the Sonoma pack. (If you want to purchase any of these items, you can get them here

The Letter of the Day - H

Hi everyone! Today is Monday and that means the design team creates something with the letter of the day. Today the letter of the day is H.

I used the Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to My Heart to cut out the door hanger and the roses. (If you wish to purchase this absolutely awesome cart, you can purchase it HERE). The door hanger is cut at 11 1/2 inches using the fit to page feature. The two roses are cut out at 3 3/4 inches. The hello was cut out using gypsy font on the gypsy. The width is 2.75 inches and the height is 1.65 inches. The border is from a MS punch and the ribbon was in my stash from Michael's.

We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punch review

Today I received my We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punches. I purchased them on HSN a few days ago and couldn't wait for them to arrive! Now I will admit that these punches are LARGE, lol! This makes storage somewhat of an issue. However, overlooking their size, these punches are fantastic! I played with the pink one a little.  The instructions are very easy to understand! You have the option of using the outer punch, the inner punch or both simultaneously. I chose to use both together. This was very easy to use and within no time, this is what I punched using a 12 x 12 paper.

The instructions give information on how to use the punches to create different looks using different size papers. I have to say that I really like these punches and I can't wait for the others to be released. ♥

Theme Day Thursday - Wedding

Hi everyone!

Today is Theme Day Thursday and the challenge for the design team was to create something using a wedding theme. Today I decided that I would create a pillow box using the Art Philosophy cartridge.

I created all of this using my gypsy! The box was cut slightly more than six inches and sprayed with Caribbean Blue Glimmer Mist. I used Lyrical Letters to create the welded sentiment "with this". The ring is also welded to the sentiment and comes from the Sweethearts cart. The two roses were also cut from the Art Philosophy cart on the gypsy at slightly larger than four inches. (If you are looking to purchase the Art Philosophy cart, you can purchase it from my website HERE). The roses were sprayed with Glimmer Mist and the edges have Stickles in Stardust. I had a lot of fun creating this little box!

Would You Ever Guess Wednesday

..

Hi everyone!!! Today the design was to create something using a cricut cartridge using the creative features! I created this easel card using the creative features on the Art Philosophy cart, Calligraphy cart and Lyrical Letters with my gypsy.

The corners are from the Art Philosophy cart from Close to My Heart. The corners are from the font layer feature. I used my gypsy to weld the letters  "Love You" from Lyrical Letters. I welded the heart from Calligraphy Collection from the Matrimony feature to the sentiment.  The sequin hearts I had in my stash from Doodlebug.

I hope I have inspired to become more creative. Visit Erica's Craft Room to see more projects like mine! ♥

Theme Day Thursday - Winter Activity Tag

Hello everyone!

Today the challenge for the design team is winter activities! There are many things we do in the winter, but I decided that I wanted to create a tag featuring ice skating.

..
I used the Winter Frolic cart for this cute tag! I cut the ice skater and her layers at 2 3/4 inches. I sprayed the tag with Caribbean Blue glimmer mist. I used a snowflake stamp and white pigment ink from Close to My Heart, I used my heating tool and clear embossing powder on the stamped snowflakes. This project took approximately 30 minutes to complete!

I hope I have inspired you to become more crafty! Check out some other projects from design team members at Erica's Craft Room. Happy Crafting!!!
