Holiday Mini Album

Hello everyone!!

I have been missing for several weeks. I've been so swamped with paper work for school, I haven't had a chance to update my blog since my birthday. I'm on Christmas break now, and I've decided to update my blog with a video of the mini paper bag album I created for my swap partner. I really like the way it turned out.

I'll be posting other projects I have completed in the last several weeks very soon. Stay tuned for more projects and inspiration!

Spring Frame of Mind ♥

Hello everyone!!!!

Well, there's been a lot going on! But with all that, I am still trying to find time to craft. Crafting is definitely helping me to stay relaxed and I'm always looking to learn new techniques or improve my skills.

I had a canvas (two actually, lol) that I purchased a year ago and didn't know what to do with it. It's been cold and snowy and I thought to myself, "Why don't I create something that feels like spring?" Well I sat down and thought for a moment. Here is what I decided to create!

I REALLY like the way this turned out! This Tilda stamp is one that I really like and wanted to incorporate it into this project somehow. For her hair, I used E25, E27 and E29. For her dress and socks I used RV000, RV00 and RV10. I also used RV09 in the socks. The paper comes from Close to My Heart - the Chantilly paper pack. The colors are adorable and really invokes the colors of Spring. I used my Xyron Creative Station on the Tilda, the doily she is standing on, and the ribbon in the background. The doily was made using We R Memory Keepers mini 8 punch.

I hope that you like my creation!!! I'll be back soon with another project and another giveaway!!

We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punch review

Today I received my We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punches. I purchased them on HSN a few days ago and couldn't wait for them to arrive! Now I will admit that these punches are LARGE, lol! This makes storage somewhat of an issue. However, overlooking their size, these punches are fantastic! I played with the pink one a little.  The instructions are very easy to understand! You have the option of using the outer punch, the inner punch or both simultaneously. I chose to use both together. This was very easy to use and within no time, this is what I punched using a 12 x 12 paper.

The instructions give information on how to use the punches to create different looks using different size papers. I have to say that I really like these punches and I can't wait for the others to be released. ♥
