Card Creating Tuesday - Spring Card

 

Hi everyone! Today is Card Creating Tuesday. Today the Design team makes cards around a certain theme. Since Spring is hours away, we were asked to make Spring cards.

I created this Spring card using the Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to My Heart. (If you want to purchase the Art Philosophy cartridge, you can go HERE. If you want to get it for FREE, go HERE). I cut both the egg shaped card and the decorative layer at 5 inches. I used the font on this cartridge and my Gypsy to weld the letters together. The letters were cut out at little over 1 1/2 inches. I cut two flowers using the same cartridge (one flower cut at 2 inches and the other at 3 inches. I inked the flowers and the "happy spring" sentiment with lavender ink. I used liquid pearls around the egg. I purchased the liquid pearls from Erica's shop.
