So to celebrate things getting better,  I am doing a giveaway! Here is what you will receive: A cute box filled to the top with embellishments (including lace, flowers, stamps, etc)!!!

This cute little box was decorated by me using some paper, mod podge and some embellishments from my stash. In order to win this box stuffed with cute embellishments, you have to:

A. Share this on Facebook
B. Follow my blog and leave a comment below stating that you are following my blog.

A winner will be selected on Friday, March 8th (after 8pm EST) using Random generator!

Thanks and good luck!!! ♥

Close to My Heart December Blog Hop - Pear and Partridge

Hi all!

Welcome to the Damask Divas December Blog Hop!

If you've just come from Melissa Thompson then you are on the right track. If you haven't, please start at the beginning of the hop with our team leader Mandy Leahy

This month the team is focusing on the Pear and Partridge paper pack exclusive to Close to My Heart.

Here are some projects that I have created using this wonderful paper pack and using the Cricut cartridges Artiste and Art Philosophy.

The ornament on this card comes from the Art Philosophy cartridge...

I used a square punch on strips of paper to create banners. The glittered letters are glittered thickers...

I used the tree cut on page 56 of the book from the Artiste cartridge. The ornaments were hand decorated by me!

I cut this hexagon box at 3 1/4 inches. It is also from the Artiste cartridge. The ribbon came from Michael's. Inside this lovely box is one of the above ornaments that I will be giving as gifts.

I hope that you have enjoyed my projects! ♥

Next you should visit Ashley. Happy Hopping!

A Homespun Affair - September Edition

Hello! It's time for another edition of A Homespun Affair! I hope you have enjoyed all of the editions in the past! This edition is just as full of projects and inspiration like the others!

This month I decided to create a 3D apple since it's the season to go back to school. I myself will be going back to work in a few days, so this project was very appropriate! You can get all the directions on how to create this 3D apple in this month's edition of A Homespun Affair. The paper used comes from DCWV (Grade school paper pack).

I used the outer layer of an apple from the cartridge Potpourri Basket. I hid the inner layers using my Gypsy.

Check out how I used this same apple three different ways!

Instead of making a full apple, keep it flat and adhere it to the front of a mini album or mini notebook for a splash of color and a touch of texture.

I used the same technique to make this mini apple as a tag for this backpack. The backpack was made using the Campin' Critters cartridge. The twine holding the apple comes from 3 Girls Jam.

I hope I have inspired you to be become creative! And if you decide to create a 3D apple of your own, link it back to my blog! Also, don't forget to check out this month's challenge at A Homespun Affair.

100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop - April

I hope you all are having fun with the hop! Here are my projects for this weekend's hop!

My first project I used Celebrate with Flourish. I created this invitation for someone who wanted to do something nice for her husband. I cut the wine bottle and the layers at 3 inches. I colored the glasses and added the wine using my Copic markers.  The "You're Invited" is from Potpourri Basket.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

My second project was originally going to be a scrapbook layout. However, I just couldn't get it to look the way I wanted, So I opted to make this an invitation for a party.

I cut the "wizard", the layers, and the fairy tale sentiment at 2 1/2 inches.  I used gold stickles on the crown, the wand, and wizard hat to add some dimension. I colored everything with my Copic Markers.

My third and final project is a treat bag I made using the Art Philosophy cartridge.

I cut the bag at 12 1/2 inches using the fit to page feature. After assembling the treat bag, I adhered eggs to the treat bag, which also are on the Art Philosophy cart. The eggs were all cut at two inches and decorated with liquid pearls. (If you want to purchase the Art Philosophy Cartridge, you can purchase it HERE).

I hope that I have inspired you to become more creative! Please visit next Teresa @

Theme Day Thursday - Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 1

Hello everyone! Today is Theme Day Thursday and that means that we select a project to make based on a certain theme. Today the theme is Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 1.

This is the first project that I have created with this cart!  I absolutely LOVE all of the 3-D boxes, bags, purses, etc. available on this cart. There are soooooo many options. I am aware that this cart has long since retired, but I believe that TBBM1 may be available as a digital download to use with Cricut Craft Room. If you are unable to find this cart, Provo Craft did release TBBM 2 a couple weeks ago. I LOVE this cart as well and I am planning to make a few projects with it in the next few days!

Now on to the project!!!!

I cut out this cute popcorn box  from TBBM1 using my Gypsy. The paper comes from the Mayberry pack from Close to My Heart. The width is 11.69 and the height is 6.61. The word popcorn was welded together on the gypsy from the Plantin Schoolbook cart. The word popcorn measures 2.15 x 2.50. I cut out a couple popcorn shapes in white paper and inked it with Bamboo ink from Close to My Heart. The ticket stub comes from the Art Philosophy cart. (If you want to purchase this cart, you can get it HERE or if you would like to be able to get it for FREE you can go to this LINK).
